Wet Surface Repair Putty (UW) is a water resistant putty used for patching, rebuilding and repairing equipments used in wet or underwater environments. It is a non-rusting, unique epoxy which is also highly exothermic enabling its usage in environments that are chronically wet. Their unique ability to penetrate moisture eliminates the need for drying parts before repairing.
Wet Surface Repair Putty is used for repairing concrete pipes in chronically wet environments. They are also used for repairing pumps, valves, tanks used in marine environments, fixing and repairing pipes, offshore drilling platforms, paper mills and water treatment plants.
For applying Wet Surface Repair Putty, the surface is to be prepared. The dense nature of the mix can be easily applied over surfaces without sagging or running. The application of putty is done with a putty knife very quickly to avoid flash rusting due to exposure in dry areas.
