Kolorkut Water Finding Paste is also known as Water Gauging Paste. It is used to identify the presence of water in a diesel, petrol, oil, gasoline, fuel oil, kerosene tanks. Usually any presence of water could be detected at the bottom of the tank as water is denser, so a rod or a string applied with Kolor Kut water finding paste is immersed to the bottom of the tank. The weighed string if touches water indicates by color change of the paste.
As the paste coated rod or a string touches the water there is a color change from a bright golden brown color to brilliant red color as soon as it gets into contact with water. The depth of the water can be determined by the height of the color change in the rod. As barrels of fuels are stored in ships it becomes a must during shipping. There are different types of paste to determine water for oils, bio ethanol, and gasoline available.
